Sylvaner is associated with Germany but is actually an old, indigenous grape variety from Austria. Unfortunately, there are now only a vanishing 50 hectares left in the entire wine-growing region. It has delicate pear and quince aromas and is a lively, fresh and appetizing white wine.

The nose presents subtle aromas of white bread, a light spice and a bit of sesame. At the beginning, the Grüner Veltliner Purus Kamptal DAC Reserve seems a little reserved, but this goes with a little breathing. On the palate it is quite strong, structured and dry. Tight with classic spice, straightforward and lots of crispiness.
